It is with great regret to announce the passing of a great friend, mentor, director, and partner – Mr. Warren Corbin.

Warren has worked with TOP 1 Oil Products Company for 24 years. He came to us after 39 years with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.  Warren was a faithful and diligent member of the TOP 1 family and served as an advisor and friend to our founder, William A. Ryan.  Warren continued in this role, dispensing his wisdom, until his passing on February 25, 2010.  Warren’s keen business acumen, as well as his rich international background (having lived in countries such as Japan, Indonesia, and Jamaica), proved to be a perfect complement to the management team at TOP 1 USA.

Warren wrote a book about his rich and active life.  He made this observation summing up his life: 

“The period, during which I lived, ranges from the Model T Ford, depression years, wars between nations, communism, aviation, the jet age, the space age, the computer revolution, cloning, stem-cell research, terrorism, etc.  In an 89-year span the World has changed dramatically, geo-politically, socially and economically.  By fate and by choice, my working career involved international business, overseas living and travel.  To my good fortune, it has provided me with a front row seat to some historic events and a profound interest in world affairs.”
